Express v6.8.1.0 - Fenix 5x v10.20

Garmin Express sees and can ID my Fenix 5x.
It reports the correct device software version.

Express suggests that there are 4 map updates available.
- Routable Cycle Map of the United States
- Coverage of North and South America
- Coverage of Europe, Middle East & Africa
- Coverage of Pacific

when I seek to install the updates, it get the "Important Notes before we begin" screen. I hit continue. I see the "Preparing update.. " screen, then back to main display with failure. "There was an error installing the update"


Thats it. Nothing else. No troubleshooting provided. Anyone figure this one out?

    I also have the Fenix 5x v. 10.20 using Garmin Express 6.8.1.0 and I also cannot update the Western Europe Map as mentioned above here. Garmin please help us!

    Check what the logs in C:\ProgramData\Garmin\Logs\Express say, for me I always get this error. It would be interesting to see if this is same for everyone.

    I tried to do what you said. I copied the last part from Express.log. What does this all mean?
