Problem with Nuvi 755

I'm leaving on a trip on Saturday and tried to update the maps on my Nuvi 755T tonight via my Windows 7 machine. Garmin Express can not find this (registered) device. I updated GE to the latest version of the program and still no luck. It does find my Garmin Montana with no problem. So I switched to my Windows 10 machine and experienced the same problem. Windows Explorer on both machines finds the Nuvi and I can read and write to it from Explorer just fine.

I replaced the battery in the Nuvi 3 weeks ago and have been using it in the car since then with no problems. The only problem is with Garmin Express. How is it that Windows can talk to it but Garmin software can't?

Make sure you are plugging USB directly into device and not into cradle.

OOPS! Never mind... I now see that you say Windows Explorer sees it, so you are not going thru the cradle!
