Forerunner 220 no longer recognized

Hi there,
I am using my watch for 2 years now and I worked fine until a few weeks. It is not recognized anymore by my computer. However it does charge. I tried a cleaning watch/cable with no results.
I don’t think it is due to any update. I don’t remember anything particular when I use dit for the last time when it was working.
Any idea to reconnect my watch to Garmin Express ?
I’m using Win10 and have tried on a Win7 PC with same results.
Thanks in advance,
Regards,
  • You can try a different USB port on your computer. If still a problem, try on a different computer. If still no joy, I suggest a full reset of your watch. You will lose all of your data.
    • Hold down the start and lap buttons simultaneously
    • While continuing to hold down start and lap, press the power button and hold until you hear the first beep
    • Release the power and start buttons
    • After you hear the 2nd beep, release the lap button
Now it should power up and you'll see the language selection screen just as it was out of the box the first time you powered it on.

Hello and thank you for the rapid response.
I tried on both 2 USB port on my computer. Also on 2 other USB port of a second computer. Same result.
I did a reset of my watch as you suggested. Unfortunately it is still not recognized, windows tells me a unrecognized device has been plugged in.
Should I try to get another cable (I don't know even where to buy it at this moment)?
Should I try to send it somewhere to get repaired ?
Should I simply buy another one ?
Thanks in advance for your advices :-)
