Unable to update/download Charts

For the past 4 days, every time I bring up Garmin Express and select my tab that contains my charts and marine instruments, I receive the following error -

"Sorry, we are having a problem communicating with our servers."

When this occurs, I can get to My Tools section, but my Charts section is grayed out and unusable. I have purchased a new chart and need to down this chart.

I have tried logging off, logging back in, I have contacted Garmin Support via phone but they currently have an 1.5 to 2.25 hr wait time.

Any suggestions or is anyone else having this problem.

Thanks

As an update to the original post -

I got a call back from Garmin Tech Support just now. They have advised that there is an "Advisory Warning" with their charts and as a result they have halted downloads or updates via Garmin Express, Active Captain, etc until such time the issue is corrected.

I questioned what was meant by Advisory Warning - The support rep indicated there is a problem with NOAA Navaid's within their recent charts updates. (Note - I cruise the east coast of USA). They have no definite date for correcting the issue, but we know that it has been issue noted by Garmin since at least since 25-Jun - when it appears the servers were taken offline for chart updates.

The Garmin rep did indicate that I needed to update my Chart Plotters and Active Captain iOS app to select the IALA setting for Navaid as the IALA navaid within the charts were not impacted by the issue. Once the issue was resolved, the servers would be back online and I can switch my Navaid setting back to NOAA and update/download my charts.

I did ask the support rep if this was a recent issue with maps or if "older maps" had the issue as well - The support rep indicated it was recent but could not give any guidance on what/how to understand what charts might be subject to the advisory warning.

So it appears I am locked out of new Chart purchase or update downloads until the Chart issue is corrected.
