installation Problem

Had an issue with my laptop and had to reinstall everything.. since then I have been unable to install Garmin Express, half way through the install I get an error message saying "The Specified account already exists" . Anyone had this issue or know how to solve it?

Windows 10 (latest version) Lenovo Laptop..

OK, reinstalling the MS .net framework fixed this.. one step forward.. Now I have been able to install Express version 6.6.. BUT.... now the program will not launch.. get to the completion page and asks if I want to launch the program, I click the box and nothing happens..... ??

I did see a post somewhere that there is an issue for 64 bit win 10 setups (Garmin, is this true?) and does this version of express work with the v4.7 of .net framekwork?

I suggest you try using the Microsoft Utility to completely uninstall Garmin Express. This software is third-party and not created by Garmin. The software is licensed and created by Microsoft.

When uninstalling Garmin Express select as necessary:

•Garmin Express
•Garmin Express Tray
•Elevated Installer
•Garmin Update Services (skip if not present)
•ANT Drivers Installer x64

Then install Garmin Express directly from http://download.garmin.com/omt/express/B/GarminExpressInstaller.exe

Strange. Not sure what else to suggest. Express works fine on my Win 10.

Yep, Strange... basecamp works fine.. Just Express that's a problem..
