CityNavigator Europe map is version 2018.20 the latest?

Hello

for more than 6 month, I think even for almost one year I have the CityNavigator Europe map version 2018.20 installed on my Garmin Montana 600.
I'm nearly sure that there is a newer version available, but if I connect my device via Garmin express the program tells me that a have the latest version.
I have a lifetime update for this map.

Can anybody tell me if there is a newer version of this map? And if yes, why Garmin Express tells me that I have the latest version?

I have asked the Garmin support this question 1 month again. But until now no answer...

That's the latest version for your Montana. The latest for more modern devices is 2019.10 so an update for the 2018.20 you have shouldn't be long.

and did Garmin changed the update cycle to just 2 updates a year?

You have the NT version of the map, not the NTU version. There is no definite update cycle although in the past it's generally been 3 which is less than the 4 it used to be, however the NT map is generally now only updated twice a year. The actual terms for lifetime updates now says

If you purchase a nüMaps Lifetime subscription (sold separately or bundled together with certain GPS models), you will receive map updates when and as such updates are made available on the Garmin website during the useful life of 1 compatible Garmin product or as long as Garmin receives map data from a third party supplier, whichever is shorter.
