Garmin Express looks for updates at wakeup and restart (file in use is esu.exe), hogging virtually 100 percent of my HDD and preventing me doing what I turned on my PC for, even though it's set to Never in settings and Garmin Express Tray is set to disabled in Startup, the reason being this very behaviour of disk hogging. It's also set to not run in the background.
How do I disable Express running when it wants to rather than when I want it to, and why is it ignoring preferences and startup settings?
