So we have another Zumo 660LM, running win 7 U x64, and latest Garmin Express (GE) installed, I have tried to update the maps using no SD Card, 8GB and a 16GB card, used differnt USB ports, even used the support site using this string
support.garmin.com/.../followed all the info but still get the same error, been onto Gramin and as usual it's dead and offered and upgrade they told me the SD Card reader must be dead yet within windows i can see it fine, having said that i have not tried to write to it yet so i will do that later, using Garmin cable, SD Cards are well Lexar & Samsung but unsure of write speed, internet connection is fine (FTTP 50/10), can't think of much more to give info wise, any questions just ask.
