Nüvi downgrade

As my Garmin Nüvi has problems with connecting to a Garmin EcoRoute device since the last upgrade of the Nüvi's Software (many thanks to Garmin for still doing maintenance!!!!!), I wondered if there is any way to downgrade the Nüvi's software again to the previous version.
