Hello Garmin Gang, About eight months ago I updated my 1450LMT before a trip. While on the trip I set avoidance to avoid unpaved roads. However, twice it tried to send me down unpaved roads. I'm curious if anyone else had that issue. FYI today I just updated it again and have not used it yet, so we'll see how it goes this summer. I'm just curious if last year's issue may have been an install issue, or an issue with the maps (e.g. a road was slated for paving but was not yet paved) or something else. Just curious and any thought appreciated.
Sounds like your maps are or were not updated, I think they get the info from your states D.O.T. for that each map update. Another reason there are so many map updates.
