GE claims that my Nuvi doesnt have enough free space although I have plenty.

GE says that I need 12GB free space and refuses to install new map. But I have about 30GB free. So what is going on? Help!

Sorry that tells us nothing. When is GE telling you about space? Is it talking about space on your PC? Your device? The SD card? When is the error occurring? For your PC you could need up to 20Gb free ... is it possible you're low on space there? How much free space on your device? Is the card empty?

Oops, I misread the error message. I started the installation again just now and it says that my computer has not enough space. So I started the installation again selecting "device only" and the maps are currently installing. Thanks a lot for putting me in the right direction!

I cleared some disk space on my PC so now both device and PC have the latest maps. Thanks a lot for your help!
