Hi peps, I can't get any more free map update, I had a lifetime free maps subscription and now I can't get my free map updater, to give me free maps, instead it say there are maps for me to buy. Is lifetime not lifetime?
And can I load other countries maps onto this unit and then just cycle between Australian and say Philippines?
  • How are you trying to load the maps? Express has just been updated so update to v6.0.0 and then try again. As for other maps, which ones do you have? Which ones do you want to add?

Thanks Sussamb, updated still no maps offered, it's been well over a year since I last updated, just a note to say my software is up to date 5.10. I was thinking of getting some Philippines maps and loading them onto it
  • Which map? You may have the latest.

    CN Aus & NZ NT
    2018.10 ALL

So reading the maps off the unit under tools/setting/ my maps is it true to say I have NZ maps on this to?
  • Yes and I suspect those are the latest

to Nuvi 3790T No more free maps, the model you display the T stands for traffic which is a lifetime update free of charge from Garmin.

I have a Garmin 775t which came with North American 50 states and full European maps I had to purchase a lifetime update back in 2009 I believe it was $109.

When I register I was allow one free update prior to purchasing a lifetime update.

You make no mention of what maps came with your device and what purchase you made for a lifetime update.

If you made a lifetime purchase as you state the best thing to do is to call Garmin, they can easily find out what you purchased and correct the problem for you.

Log into your account click on support you should find the needed phone number to call.
