Cannot install any version of GE on Windows

Using Windows 7 x 64. Was running 5.4.1 but it demanded and update to 5.7. Updates do not install and get message in attached photo.

I have used MS installer/uninstaller but no progress.
Everything is uninstalled but if I go to Programmes list in control panel GE 5.4.1 is there still. I click on "uninstall" but the installer starts.The installtion of 5.4.1. fails with same message.
So... I am now without any way of using GEexpress.

I would appreciate some help please.

Where do I find log file? I can post it too if I know where it is.

Did you reboot your PC after using the MS uninstaller?

Hi Sussamb

Yes rebooted many times.
Cannot get rid of Garmin Express 5.4 in Programmes list even after using uninstall tool and rebooting.

I think you've been using this Microsoft Utility.

When uninstalling Garmin Express using it you need to select as necessary:

•Garmin Express
•Garmin Express Tray
•Elevated Installer
•Garmin Update Services (skip if not present)
•ANT Drivers Installer x64

Then install Garmin Express directly from http://download.garmin.com/omt/express/B/GarminExpressInstaller.exe

Yes I have followed the instructions.
There are none of those programmes in the list when I run the MS programme because they have (supposedly) been removed.

Then I suggest you call Garmin support for detailed help.

OK. is calling the only optio of do they have a chat function option?
Difficult to talk on phone due to work commitments.
