nuvi 3590 will not accept destination

I attempted to add a destination which is shown in the map data but it will not except the city and state: Medina WV
How can this be corrected? I just update the maps 2 weeks ago.

I have been talking to tech support as well. They submitted the map error and claim it will be fixed within the next two update cycles (2-4months).

Well 2 update cycles is more like 4 to 6 months .... but nice to know they aim to correct it.

I just checked Here and Medina WV is on their maps.

My device shows Medina on the map, but you cannot search for it and thus cannot select it for a via point when setting up a route.

It may well be, but as it doesn't show on your device it's an error. Report it and it should be changed in a map update. As for selecting it, if you want to go there just select the point on the map or create a favourite there.
