Map Update Issue

Hi,
Have been in contact with support via email but they have been no help other than to wipe everything from the device\sd card so i now have a map that is 4 years out of date and puts me 50 yards off any road I am on.
Basically every time I try to install an available map update via Garmin Express after a few minutes I get the message "There was an error installing the update." I have tried on 2 different PC's and a laptop, all windows 10, have also used the latest and previous version of Express to no avail and also painstakingly removed anything from the registry before a full reinstall several times to no affect.
Any help would be appreciated.

What kind of device are you trying to update? I suspect the "50 yards off any road I am on" is a separate issue from the map update problem. Is your 4 year old map a Garmin City Navigator map?

Sorry forgot device name, its a Nuvi 2515, the map thats left after doing a reset as per support instructions is the default map, I have a lifetime map purchased for this device.

Same problem for me. on Fenix 5x plus.

Update available: Coverage of North and South America 6.0

TopoActive Europe 2019.10

More then 50gb of space available on drive C.
