Reinstall Garmin Express

One week ago Garmin Express failed to start on my Computer (Lenovo Notebook, Windows 7 64 Bit). I was not able to uninstall the program automaticalyy, the same mistake occurs. I then tried to uninstall it with some Tools ant this seem to work.

When I now try to install it again using the loader from Garmin called GarminExpressInstaller.exe nothing happend. No window Pops up, no message, just nothing at all.

I have installed several programs from Garmin like Basecamp, Training Center oder MapSource, so I am noit sure what to delete.

Any hints for me? Would be nice;=)

This can happen if your PC hasn't done a complete uninstall. Try using the Microsoft Utility to completely uninstall Garmin Express. This software is third-party and not created by Garmin. The software is licensed and created by Microsoft.

When uninstalling Garmin Express select as necessary:

•Garmin Express
•Garmin Express Tray
•Elevated Installer
•Garmin Update Services (skip if not present)
•ANT Drivers Installer x64

Then install Garmin Express directly from http://download.garmin.com/omt/express/B/GarminExpressInstaller.exe

Thank you very much für the hints. I did everything as you told, then I restart my Computer and tried to install GarminExpressInstaller.exe but again: The Computer asks me, if I want to run the installer, I klick to yes but nothing happens at all.

Do you Need additional Infos from me?

Would be really great if you would try to help me again;=)

Try running it in admin mode, right click the exe file and select Run as administrator.
