Trying to install on new Win 10 machine. Sign in with Facebook on the website and forum 100% ok. Install Express, select device use Facebook sign in and get cookie message. But cookies are enabled on ALL of my browsers. Please help (I have uninstalled, reinstalled, shouted sworn and now Foruming!)
Same issue here. Why does all functionality shut down whenever garmin releases an update for anything? Get it together, guys. This is what bug testing is for.
Same issue here. Tried all settings in my browser, but Express is not able to make connection to Connect with Social (Facebook) login. Error: Cookies Required: Cookies are not enabled on your browser. Please enable cookies in your browser preference to continue.
Tried everything with Internet Explorer Settings, Edge, Chrome, but nothing helps. Login in to connect without the social account works, but then I have to create a new login and loose all old entries.
I called the support line, they were pointing fingers at Microsoft and to be fair lots of other people have had the cookie issue with Windows 10 and Edge browser, not just people using Garmin.
The support guy reset my account password for me, I put in the new password and Express is now working correctly.
Garmin Express won't sync my Edge 800 after 5.5 update; wont connect Garmin Connect
After the update to 5.5, Garmin Express won't sync my Edge 800 to Garmin Connect. It appears to have lost the log in credentials. When I enter the valid log in credentials for Garmin Connect, that demonstrably work from my web browser, it just hangs. When I try to sign in from Facebook, it hangs and says "cookies are required; please enable cookies in your browser". I have triple checked that my default and all other active browsers have cookies enabled. I deleted and re-installed Garmin Express: same result.
