Sorry we're having a problem communicating with our servers

Hi - I am charging my vivoactive HR and trying to sync at the same time. In the past this worked fine with no problems.

However, now I am getting an error

"Sorry We're having a problem communicating with our servers".

Fixes tried so far which didn't work:
- Reboot computer.
- Disconnect and reconnect watch to USB.
- Remove watch from Garmin Express and then add back again.
- Upgrade Garmin express to latest version.

The sync through my iphone still seems to be working, although I did notice (and this could be unrelated) that my goal for Intensity minutes is out of sync (says 150 on the watch but 300 on my web account), and also a new record for 5K flashed up on my watch this morning after a run but it's not come through to the Garmin Connect displays on my PC. (those two issues might be unrelated).
  • Don't panic, it's not just you I'm having the similar issues too.
  • I was having these issues too (see my other recent thread).

    I called Garmin support - they told me they JUST released a new version of Garmin Express for PC this morning.

    I tried it out, and things are working again.

    Mine eventually synced about an hour later with 5.4.0.

    However, having just seen your reply I launched GE and up pops an update...

    Updating to recently released version 5.4.1.0 resolved it for me.
