    Garmin Communicator no longer works.

The first time I got this to work after communicator stopped working I had to download and install Garmin Express (I now have Express permanently installed for VAHR and Edge 500).

Express recognizes the MAP 60, but can't "talk" to it. It allows the download of Map Install which then downloads the map.

You can try directly installing Map Source.

Actually it does still work, but not on all browsers who have closed off all NPAPI plug ins, including Garmins.

If you run IE it still works, there may be others but I'm not sure which, certainly it doesn't work on Chrome.
