I have a Vivlfit which I wear constantly. I walk my dog 4 mornings a week, and cycle with it 3 days. On those 3 days I get no credit for the cycling even though I have set up cycling (recreational road) in my profile. Can I get my Vivofit to record this as an activity, otherwise what can I do to recognise the activity. There is not much point in the unit if it cannot do all things. I may have this issue again as I plan to take up a waterbased walking activity.
If tracking of cycling is important, then you might want to get a GPS-based device. If not, then you might want to search the forum for what other users of the Vivofit have done to track cycling activities. See this thread.
