Garmin Express keeps endlessly syncing User Settings

I'll be upfront and say that i've had this issue for a long time across multiple watches and i've come to point where I just have no idea why it keeps doing this. (Forerunner 235, vivosmart hr, Fenix 3HR. The last two I use in tandem)

I have my stats in all three places exact (website,app and watch), yet every time I turn on Garmin Express....user settings have to be updated. Is there a fix? Has anyone else had this happen?

User settings need to be updated whenever they change. And they include such things as current body weight. I update my weight every day in the morning and so every day it needs to be synced to my watch. I do not know if your case is similar, but this is just a suggestion.

TrueUp attempts to sync your steps between activity counters (so every time you sync your Vivosmart it wants to send the update tothe Fēnix, every time you sync the Fēnix it wants to send it to the Vivosmart...)

I'm in the same boat.

There is a perpetual update flag on my devices in Express and web Connect. I understand weight would do it and I do an update accordingly. However within a few minutes after the sync(s), the flags return. TrueUp may be part of it but my issue precedes TrueUp and although steps do get combined, my devices (VA, VF1, 910xt) are too old be updated.

I contacted support who said that, if I remove and then repair all my devices, the issue might disappear. I'm not willing to do that and I have my doubts that it will work.
