"There was an error syncing with Garmin Connect" in GE - "Transfer Failed" in GCM ?

Since yesterday I keep getting "There was an error syncing with Garmin Connect" in GE or "Transfer Failed" in GCM. Restarted my FR235 several times, uninstalled GE and GCM, removed (after backing them up) files in \ACTIVITY and \MONITOR - no dice.

I'm still able to install CIQ apps.

Don't want to do a factory reset so I'm wondering if there's a temp file somewhere I could delete possibly to get the syncing to work again ? Thanks !
