]I had previously updated my nuvi 205 using an older version of Garmin Express. After the update, the nuvi kept resetting itself and I had to use my wife's GPS. A very helpful young lady advised me to use webupdater. The nuvi 205 worked perfectly after loading the update from webupdater. I uninstalled Garmin Express ( over a year ago ) and have used webupdater with complete success.
I installed Garmin Express 5.1.1.0 in January of this year after buying a Vivosmart HR and had no problems until Express told me that an update was available for my Vivosmart HR ( which was running happily on 3.9). After this "update", I could not get Garmin Connect to display any Intensity Minutes. The unit was displaying IM but the information was not loading to my dashboard. After several contacts with Support, without a resolution I tried Webupdater. Reviewing the history of versions, I noted that 3.9 resolved an identical issue: "Resolved an issue that causes Intensity Minutes to reset while on the charge clip." Sure enough, re-installing 3.9 through webupdater resolved the mystery of the missing Intensity Minutes. Maybe 5.1.1.0 installed 3.8 or had some bad code or hiccuped. It displayed that my Vivosmart HR had 3.9 installed but insisted on installing the "update".
I access the Internet @ 60bpm through a cable modem. No service interruptions. I have Malwarebytes and Avast as well as CCleaner.
I am using Windows 7 on my PC but doubt that that is the root cause. I have resolved the issue and am posting this narrative in the event that others have experienced the same or similar problem. I've also changed the frequency that Garmin Express 5.1.1.0 updates to zero to prevent future recurrence.
