Garmin 1240 switches off

I updated my maps prior to travelling from Sheffield to Oldham. On the journey, shortly after leaving the M67 onto the M60 the unit switched itself off and back on. This occurred at the same place on the return journey.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Are you sure its the exact location? If so can you post here where it is?

I can't guarantee it was the exact same place but it occurred somewhere between J24 & J22 northbound on the M60 and between the same 2 junctions southbound.
