This brain-damaged piece of software can't cope with two users, each with a different GPS, sharing a PC. PC is running Windows 10 x64 with the latest 5.1.1 version of Garmin Express installed. I have an Edge 1000 and my wife has an Edge Explore 1000. I login to Windows using my userid, connect my Edge 1000, run GE, add the 1000, connecting GE to my Garmin account, sync. So far so good.
My wife then logs into Windows using her userid, connects her Edge Explore 1000, runs GE, adds the Explore 1000, connecting GE to her Garmin account, syncs. Still OK
However, the next time I login to Windows, connect my Edge 1000, and sync, it syncs the ride(s) to my wife's Garmin account, not my account. And the same happens in reverse when I change GE back to my Garmin account and my wife then logs in and syncs her Edge Explore 1000.
Furthermore, both GPS units show up in GE regardless of who is logged in. If I'm logged in to Windows, I see both of the GPS units in GE, and if I remove my wife's Edge Explore 1000 from GE, when my wife next logs in, the Explore 1000 is missing when she runs GE and has to be added again.
Seems like Garmin's programmers are still stuck back in the days of Windows 3.1, when there was no concept of per-user accounts and profiles in the operating system...
