Express not installing

After finishing a ride today i wanted to upload the ride from my Garmin 5010 but the Garmin Express icon has vanished from my desktop. So i tried to reinstall Express by downloading it from the Garmin website and running the exe file. It starts the install but when it comes to installing the garmintray i get the following message:

The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable. Click OK to try again, or enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package "TrayInstaller.msi" in the box below. Use source: C:\ProgramData\Package Cache\{01B3689E-1900-44F1-9B14-63F2121E51CB}v4.5.0.0\ after pressing cancel i get the message the older version of Garmin Express tray cannot be removed. please contact your technical support group.

I have tried searching for that folder in the ProgramData folders but it does not exsist on my harddrive. I found a different Trayinstaller.msi in another folder (v.5.1.0.0) but it does not let me use it.

I last used Garmin Express on sunday without any problems and i have not made any changes to the pc in the meantime.

Does anybody know what is going on and how i could fix this?
