nuvi 1490 does not show map

nuvi 1490 with 8GB SD
Garmin Express keeps wanting to update the US map. After successful update the map does not show at map>info.
What could be the problem?

Was the map installed to the card? If so check the card is formatted FAT32 otherwise your nuvi won't see it.
