How do I disable the Garmin Express application update check?

Hi,

We're deploying Garmin Express to around 70 users in our company. The users don't have administrator rights so they can't install application updates. Therefore we need to disable the automatic update check function, however I don't find an option to do so. There is an option to disable device updates (by setting the update schedule to "never") but none for the updates to the Garmin Express application itself. Is there a possibility to do so behind the scenes (registry? config file?)?

You can set Express to not automatically run in the background, then it won't update itself, under General Settings

Certain versions of Garmin Express are considered critical updates. When these updates are released, Express will force you to update to the latest version in order to provide the best user experience. Unfortunately, there is no way to prevent this from occurring.
