Garmin Forerunner 50 - The specified unit id is invalid

As the title says, i have a Garmin Forerunner 50.

The device worked ok with the Ant Agent (paired ok) but when i installed Garmin Express i got the following message:

Unit IDQ 2147XXXX35

The specified Unit ID is invalid.

What can i do to fix that?

See this thread from a few years ago regarding this same issue. Possibly 3rd party software blocking communication or Garmin not recognizing the ID as valid in their database.
Seems that ultimately a call the Garmin support was required.
