Brightness Question

I am not sure what forum to post questions regarding using the Garmin Software, but i have a 255w and i set the brightness to what i like, eg. 90% and it stays at that setting unless i change it. Yet on my other gps the 2555LMT when I set the brightness to what I like eg. 70%, it seems to reset to 20% when I turn it back on, or sometimes another number. Is there a way for the unit to save the brightness setting like it saves every other setting.....

ps... what is the correct forum to post general questions for using your gps.. thanks
