Garmin Express and Vivosmart HR+ ,Syncing to connect service

Long story short, bought the Vivosmart HR+, the damn thing will not pair with the connect app on any phone I've tried, so I've wanted to use the Garmin Express program to have a somewhat usable fitness tracker for now until I can get some consumer service to help me regarding the problem, but for my surprise when adding the watch to the express program it asks for registration email and that's all, there is no way to log-in to my connect account and sync the device. is this normal? considering that part of this program IS to sync the data from the watch to the connect service without using a phone..

    The problem is, I cant find any place to enter the login, as far as I saw on the internet the program should give you the option to log in when you connect the device, for me it only shows "email registration", without an option to enter the password, I've entered the email and the device shows on the garmin account where in the "registered devices", but will not show on the Garmin connect web page as synced device.

    this is where the program should let me sign in to the account, but instead of only offers to enter an email for "registration"..
