Cannot install GE v 4.1.27

or even uninstall the previous version.

Windows 10 x64

I get the age old "the feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable" - which fails the install.

Using Control panel to uninstall - there is no uninstall

Same using ccleaner etc.

How badly written is this stuff?

Well normally it isn't an issue but if you did a Win10 upgrade things on your system may be screwed up. Try running this from MS which is aimed at correcting errors caused by their operating systems

When uninstalling Garmin Express select as necessary:

•Garmin Express
•Garmin Express Tray
•Elevated Installer
•Garmin Update Services (skip if not present)
•ANT Drivers Installer x64

then reinstall from http://download.garmin.com/omt/express/B/GarminExpressInstaller.exe

Thanks - although this was in fact a new Win10 install, following your steps worked out in the end!
