There was an error syncing with Garmin Connect

Hello - I'm using a Garmin Forerunner 610 and Garmin Express (version 4.1.27.0), Proxy Settings "Auto", and Software Version 3.00 on my watch. I've read through as many threads I can find with similar issues and cannot come to a resolution. I am unable to sync my activity on my watch to my PC via Garmin Express. I've downloaded the latest GE version, deleted my watch from GE and then re-added it all with the same red banner saying that "There was an error syncing with Garmin Connect". On my account, I also have a Vivofit connected to the account and remove that Ant Stick when trying to sync the Forerunner. I've tried syncing with the watch connected via USB and without and no success.

Please help!!

Same here

I'm getting the same error when syncing my 910 xt. Twice I got the error and it shut down my 910. When I tried a third time I got the error and my 910 locked up.
No idea what to do now!
Probably total reset on the 910 and uninstall/reinstall express.

I'm having the same issues. I even reset my watch and cannot load the setting from Garmin Connect so my Forerunner 15 has the right displays. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Very frustrating.

When this happens the usual thing to do is to wait a while and try back. It's the interweb for heaven's sake. Things happen.

I've got the same problem, with the same device and posted a similar query.

It is not the Interweb. I have tried GE on Win10, Win7 and even on a Mac (in two different countries) and the error is the same every time.

Something has changed after GE 4.1.25 which affects these older devices and only Garmin would know what that is.

Same Issue Since Beginning of September

I cannot sync my 610 watch and get the same error. Tried two different computers and via VPN from three countries and it does not work. Sent e-mail to Garmin two days ago but not yet received response. I hope this starts working soon before I begin to lose my workouts.

error syncing Forerunner 15

The software has a desgin flaw, it is a recurrent problem. Looking forward to return the watch to the seller and buy one from another maker.
