I have GE on Windows 7 - when I start it an update is required but the update fails after closing GE. I can't cancel the update either and so I can't use GE.
How can I get the update to work or how can I cancel it so I can use GE?
The update is in the title - Garmin Express has a required update, version 4.1.25.0. It is running on a Windows 7 Home platform which is up to date.
I have a Forerunner 610 device which uploads through Garmin Express, FWIW.
When I start GE it comes up then a new dialog appears stating that a required update must be installed, with an Ok button and no way to cancel it. When I click on the Ok button in the update request it closes GE, proceeds to install the update then displays the message "Garmin Express could not be installed on this computer. Try installing again.".
If I start GE again it goes through the same process, so I can't update it but I can't run it without the update either.
