just purchased a new Garmin sat nav drive smart 5". when I connect it via a usb cable an error message comes up saying wrong type of cable for traffic updates. but Im using the cable supplied with the sat nav !!
This forum is about Garmin Express so can you clarify what you mean? Are you using the supplied usb cable to connect your DriveSmart to your PC when you're getting this message?
Or is this an issue when you're connecting the device in your car? If so you shouldn't be using the usb cable but the power cable that came with the device that plugs into a 12v power outlet.
