Error synching with Garmin Connect - Forefunner 735XT

For the past week, I have not been able to download custom workouts I created on the Garmin Connect website onto my Forerunner 735XT device. I keep getting the error message "There was an error synching with Garmin Connect". Itwill upload completed workouts to Garmin Connect just fine, but will not synch the other way. I tried shutting down the device multiple times, deleting and remaking the work out, creating a shorter workout...however nothing seems to be working. It is still holding the workouts in a queue saying "You have items ready to install"...but will not let me install the items (workouts). Any advice on how to fix this??

    I am sorry that you are having trouble sending your workouts. There were a couple of workouts in your sync queue in Garmin Connect that linked to workouts that no longer existed. I removed all of the workouts for your sync queue so if that was the problem, it should work now. Please try sending another workout to the device. If you are still having trouble, it would be best to contact Product Support by phone.
