Garmin nuvi 1690 frozen on garmin screen

Hi I am having trouble with my Garmin nuvi 1690 losing Satellite connection and then reacquiring
but after half an hour it would not find any satellites so I updated the firmware to 3.9 using
Garmin express for the PC. since then the unit fails to start-up and get beyond the main GARMIN
STARTUP screen. I tried resetting holding the on/off button and touching the lower right screen corner
but made no difference. I have also disconnected the batter but no difference.
I can shut the unit off using on/off button but it gets stuck on the GARMIN screen.
Can anyone help.

I am sorry that you are having trouble with your nuvi 1690. I would recommend contacting Product Support as there is not a forum here for this type of issue.
