Not finding ANT stick

My phone is not compatible to use with the Vivofit 3. So can't sync that way.

I downloaded Garmin Express but when I try to add my device it says that it cannot find the ANT Stick.

I downloaded the Garmin Connect (phone) app to my computer. I was able to sync to that with my ANT stick (3 times today), but it doesn't sync everything. I tried the Garmin Express again, and still says it can't find it the stick, even though I have synced with Connect.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I am sorry that you are having trouble syncing your device. The mobile app uses Bluetooth to communicate rather than ANT so that would explain why it will detect your device. It is not designed to work on the computer so that may be why no data is actually synced. I would first determine if the ANT Stick is detected by the computer by following the instructions in the article Verify the physical connection of a USB ANT Stick to a computer.

If the ANT stick is not detected by the computer, make sure that it is plugged directly into the computer and avoid USB hubs. You can also try other ports and a different computer if you have one available and reboot the computer. If these steps do not solve the problem, you may need to contact Product Support by phone to discuss replacing the device.

If the computer sees the ANT stick but Express doesn't, make sure that you do not have any other Garmin applications open and disconnect/reconnect the ANT Stick. Also, make sure that you are using the latest version of Garmin Express. You can also try restarting the computer. If you are still having trouble, please contact Product Support by phone.
