I have had my Edge 25 for 2 weeks. Generally it's a good units, but let down by Garmin Connect / Express.
A fundamental, and massive issue, is that courses created on Garmin Connect will not sync with the device. This is a fundamental issue, and nearly caused me to return the unit.
My current workaround is to:
- create routes on Ride With GPS
- export as a .tcx
- convert to a .fit using this http://www.gpsies.com/convert.do;?language=en
- add the new .fit file to "New Files" folder on the Edge 25 through windows explorer
This seems ridiculous, but does work and i can then see & follow courses successfully on the unit.
This really needs to be sorted out. My first Garmin product, and I am amazed at the poor software / key functions that do not work.
Please can you let me know when you expect a fix for this.
