updating firmware to 5.20

hi forum,
i'm trying to update software version of my garmin univi 3579,
the current running is 4.21, when connecting to PC , garmin express run and suggest update to version 5.20,
i follow the update steps as bellow:
1- connecting garmin to USB port.
2- garmin express run and detect my univi and suggest software update to 5.20.
3- i press install button
4-software update run and start to download.
5-after finish installation , screen tell to unplug and re-plug the device to finish installing update.
6- i reconnect the garmin device again to PC.
7-after this , garmin express main screen suggest the update again , and when i check the firmware version , it's still 4.21 and not updated, and i didn't got any error message.
Do you have any idea why firmware is not updated?

You are making an error in step 6. DO NOT reconnect device to the computer at this point. Disconnect from computer and push the power button to start it up in normal navigation mode. Wait a couple of minutes until you see the message that the software update has finished.
