Garmin Express Does not Recognize my microSDHC Card on Nuvi 2455LTM

I am trying to update the maps to my nuvi 2455LTM. I have installed the latest version of Garmin Express and reformatted my microSDHC card, which is 8 GB. I checked the file size and proper format (FAT32) on my computer using an adapter. The computer recognizes the microSDHC card when it is separate from the GPS. I am using Windows 10. When I try to down load the maps with the microSDHC card installed in the GPS, Garmin Express asks me to install a SD card, which I have already done. Then I get a warning that Garmin Express can not find the card. Retry does not work, as I continue to get notice that Garmin Express can not find the card. Any ideas? Thanks.
I used Garmin Express without the card, then inserted it when asked twice and still Garmin Express does not recognized the card. BTW, the internal member have very little availability, maybe 117MB or 3% of the internal memory.
Try clearing some memory by removing unwanted voices and help files. Sometimes updates stall because of lack of free space although I would have thought 117Mb should be enough.
