strange Garmin express issue

Hello,

When I connect my 510 device to Windows 10 over the usb cable, it recognizes it as a garmin watch and the displayed serial is different.
I have removed this strange device and restarted windows and tried again: Result is same.
removed the Garmin express and tried all from scratch. Result is same: 510 is not visible but a strange watch is displayed with another serial.
And it does not sync , not able to access the servers.

I am sorry that you are having trouble with your Edge 510. If you recently received a newly overhauled device, the device may just need to be manually registered on our website to update the s/n to the new one.

If you do not have a newly overhauled device or this does not work, please contact Product Support by phone.

I would recommend manually uploading any activities before calling in case they get cleared off during troubleshooting.
