Garmin Express not syncing courses

When I sync with Garmin Express, my courses on Garmin Connect and on my Edge 810 don't sync.

Even when I create a course on GC and click Send to Device, the course doesn't go to the device.

There are courses on my device that aren't on Garmin Connect and courses on Garmin Connect that aren't on my device.

Both my Edge 810 and Garmin Express are running the most up-to-date software.

    I am sorry about the trouble with your courses. First, I just want to make sure that it is clear that courses on your device will not sync to Garmin Connect. You can create a course from an activity that comes from your device, but the courses on your device will not show on Connect unless you have created them there.

    When you create a course on Garmin Connect and choose send to your device, you should be prompted to select your device and then you need to sync in Garmin Express. What happens after your sync with Express? Are you getting an error message? Is this occurring with all courses that you create on Garmin Connect?

    I wasn't getting an error message, and it was happening with a course I created on Garmin Connect. After the sync Garmin Express would report that the sync had been successful. However, the course would not be on my device.

    That said, I just restarted everything again and tried one more time, and lo and behold this time it worked. So who knows? I'll chalk it up to yet another mysterious Garmin firmware bug.
