Just got a fenix 3, downloaded and installed Garmin express, when i connect my Garmin up, the PC recognisd it as a Garmin fenix 3, but the Garmin express software states "device not compatible with Garmin express". has anyone else seen this? (ive seen entries regards the issue on a MAc and changing the region settings fixed the issue?
I am sorry you both are getting messages that your devices are not compatible with Garmin Express. Occasionally, NOH (Newly Overhauled) devices do not get their serial numbers completely updated and it can cause the issue you both have. We can correct it and then Garmin Express will read them correctly. Can you each provide the following:
The serial number from the back of the device.
When trying to add the device to Garmin Express, it should list a serial number. Please provide this.
Once we know the actual serial number and verify the one Garmin Express shows, we can correct this for you. I am sorry for the inconvenience this has caused.
