I purchased (Download: City Navigator® Europe NT – UK/Ireland 010-D0037-00) but was unable to download the map due to unsupported communicator plugins problem. Please help as we are travelling in 3 days and we need to have the map in the device for it to be useful.
I am sorry you are having trouble installing the Garmin Communicator Plugin. Since you are leaving in three days, I suggest you contact ">Product Support">Product Supportby phone tomorrow if this doesn't resolve the issue. It is the fastest method to get this corrected.
Due to changes in how a couple browsers support plugins, you will need to use Internet Explorer (IE) in Windows. Please follow these steps:
Download and "Save" the ">Garmin Communicator Plugin Installer">Garmin Communicator Plugin Installer.
Close all browsers.
Right-click on the installer and choose to "Run as administrator".
Follow the prompts to finish installing and close the browser that opens. Don't worry about what it says here.
Using IE, log into ">myGarmin">myGarmin.
If you get a pop-up message, check the box to make it no longer appear and then follow its instructions.
Now, please try the download again.
