Edge 1000 does not update to map 2016.10

Hello,

I am trying to update my Garmin Edge 1000 (software 8.10) with the newest available cycling map Europe (2016.10).
When trying to install, Garmin Express (4.1.22.0) says (in Dutch, so probably in English a little bit other than in my words): "An error occurred during installation of the update".

But what is this error?

The Edge is connected to Express (green light visible) and is synchronizing....

Hopefully therefore you are now able to download the map?

No sorry, stil having problems.....

At first it seems the download is going well, but after a while (about 20-20% of the download), it stops and gives the same message.

It appears from your message that the download is failing. Have you tried all the troubleshooting in our FAQ:

What should I do if I am having problems downloading updates in Garmin Express?

If not, please do, if you have we will need to look into this further. Please let us know.

Tried again today and now it works!! So update completed.
