transfer Trips from Nuvi 3760 to DriveLuxe 50

Hello everyone,

I'm trying to transfer my Trips from my old Nuvi 3760, to my new DriveLuxe 50LMT-D. I used Garmin Express, which transferred my Favorites without a problem, but it seems it does not transfer Trips.

Anyone has any suggestions how to do this? I've read that some people changed their devices to Mass Storage mode and copied the ".System/Trips" directory by hand.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you.
  • That would be one way, or you could use BaseCamp.
  • @sussamb ... will that work on a 3760? I was thinking that the 37x0 was the series that didn't support route transfer when it was first introduced. Then Garmin added the support with a firmware update, but as I recall, it was route import only, not export. I may be wrong on this, so maybe someone who owns one of these devices will comment.

I just wanted to confirm that the DriveLuxe 50 did not recognize the "Trips" directory and files from the Nuvi 3760.

Maybe Basecamp is the only way?
  • @adbuck You may be correct, although I thought the issue was receiving routes from BaseCamp?

@earthlingIT1 BaseCamp should do it for you, unless adbuck is correct (he often is)

According to our FAQ on this, the nuvi 3760 will not send trips created in Trip Planner on the device to the computer.

Can I transfer routes created on my device with Trip Planner to MapSource or BaseCamp?

However you can recreate the trips in BaseCamp and send them to the 3760 and the new DriveLuxe 50LMT-D:

How do I access routes transferred from the computer on an automotive device?

As this is not an Express issue, closing thread.
