Approach G6 (USB Device) Not Recognized in Windows 7

My Windows 7 PC for some reason stopped recognizing my Approach G6.
Everything worked fine when I first got it and installed Garmin Express. And everything is up to date.
After searching the web and trying several suggested tricks, it still does not get recognized on any of the 4 USB ports.
Express says: Not Connected. But when I launch Tools > Settings it launches a web page that shows my device w/ serial number, and Software is up to date.
Device manager does not change, blink, or show the device when you plug it in.

Very frustrating to say the least. Pay good $$ for a product that is suppose to be a top brand, and something as simple as a USB connection is messed up.
From what I've seen on the MS Windows forum and google searching, its not the only Garmin product that has USB connectivity problems.

Someone please advise....

I am sorry that you are having trouble with your G6. Are you using the USB cable that came with the device? If Device Manager does not refresh when you plug it in, it sounds like the cable is not carrying data. I would first recommend trying another cable. If that does not solve the problem, make sure you have completed the steps in the FAQ Why is my Garmin mass storage or MTP device not communicating with Garmin Windows applications?

If you are still having trouble, it would be best to contact Product Support by phone.
