Garmin Express looping update 2016.10

A few weeks ago I connected my Edge Touring to my PC, and it offered me a map update to Version 2016.10 (Western Europe).
I installed the update, but ever since Express keeps telling me update 2016.10 is available, what's happening here?

    I am sorry that you are having trouble with our Edge Touring. If Garmin Express is offering an update, it sounds like the device is reporting that the old map is still installed. What map does the device show is installed? To check this on the Edge:
    • Select Tools
    • Select Trip Pages
    • Select Map
    • Select Map Information

    The following maps are installed:

    • INTL Standard Basemap, NR
    • Garmin Cycle Map EU 2016.10
    • Edge DEM Map EU 2014.20
    • Garmin Geocode Map EU 2016.10

    Try deleting the device from Garmin Express and Garmin Connect.

    How do I delete a fitness device from Garmin Express?

    Then reboot the computer and add the device back.

    If it continues to be offered, contact Product Support by phone for further assistance.
