Garmin express and 405CX

I'm trying to sync my 405CX to my PC, and I'm getting intermittent failures. I had two activities today and they would not sync. An activity from yesterday also would not sync. I've seen this multiple times, it may be from having more than one activity in a day. Has anyone else seen this?

    I am sorry your are having trouble syncing your Forerunner 405Cx. The device should not have trouble syncing multiple activities in one day. If it is intermittent, there could be something interfering with the wireless transfer or the device may be getting full is you haven't cleared old history off it in a while. Please first try the FAQ, "">What can I try when my ANT Fitness device will not sync with Garmin Express?">What can I try when my ANT Fitness device will not sync with Garmin Express?"

    If that doesn't solve the issue, please delete any history off the watch that has already been uploaded to Garmin Connect. If you do not know how to do this, please refer to page 23 of the ">Owner's manual">Owner's manual.

  • I've deleted all the old activities, and it won't add any new activities. Garmin express says sync complete and the watch says sync complete, but I'm not getting any new activities. I had two activities on Tuesday, and one both Wednesday and Thursday, and they do not sync.

    I am sorry you are still unable to sync your Activities from your Forerunner 405Cx. Since it is not syncing but both the device and Garmin Express say it is, we need to look closer to see if the data is going to the computer or saving incorrectly on the device.

    To examine this more closely, we really need to speak with you via phone. Please call ">Product Support">Product Support for more in depth troubleshooting.
